Hey everyone,

It’s jr00t here, CEO of GraphLinq Chain, and today I want to talk about something really important: recent scams in the crypto space and how to stay safe while navigating the exciting world of Web3.

Unfortunately, we recently encountered bad actors who purchased domains similar to ours, like GraphLinq.org and GraphLinq.zyx. These scammers created duplicate versions of our public website, GraphLinq.io, and used them to spread misinformation across social media and chat platforms. Their goal was to lure unsuspecting users into fake giveaways or airdrops, ultimately trying to scam them out of their hard-earned coins.

Let me be crystal clear: GraphLinq Chain is not running any giveaway contests at this time. If you come across any messages or websites claiming otherwise, please do not connect your wallet or provide any personal information. Your safety and security are our top priorities, and we are actively working to combat these scams.

So, how can you spot a scam in the Web3 crypto space? Here are some tips:

  1. Question Everything: Always ask yourself if something seems too good to be true. Scammers often use enticing offers to lure victims.
  2. Check Official Sources: Verify information from official channels like our website, social media accounts, or announcements in our community forums.
  3. Secure Your Wallet: Never share your private keys or seed phrases with anyone, and only connect your wallet to trusted and verified platforms.

One key red flag of the recent scam was that every link on the fake website led to a prompt asking users to connect their wallets. Legitimate websites will provide actual content and information, not just requests for sensitive data.

At GraphLinq Chain, we take security seriously. We are constantly monitoring for scams and working to educate our community on best practices for staying safe online. If you ever have doubts or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly.

Remember, the crypto space is filled with incredible opportunities, but it’s also important to stay vigilant and protect yourself from malicious actors. Together, we can create a safer environment for everyone involved.

Stay safe, stay informed, and keep exploring the amazing possibilities of Web3!

Warm regards,

jr00t
