Hey everyone, Jr00t here, CEO of GraphLinq Chain, with an urgent message for our community.

It's come to our attention that scammers have duplicated our official website, GraphLinq.io, and are using it to defraud members of our community. These scammers have registered domains similar to ours or using the GraphLinq name with different TLDs. They're primarily operating through GraphLinq.org, spreading their scam via Telegram, Twitter, and other channels. The GraphLinq.org domain redirects users to their fraudulent website hosted at GraphLinq.xyz.

You might be wondering why they go to such lengths. The 302 redirect from .org to .xyz allows them to perpetuate the scam even after one domain is taken down. This deceptive tactic keeps their scheme running, causing harm to unsuspecting individuals.

To protect yourself and others:

  1. Always verify URLs, especially for financial transactions.
  2. Be cautious of unexpected redirects, particularly from familiar websites.
  3. Report suspicious activity promptly to relevant authorities.

Now, let's shed light on the company facilitating this scam, NiceNIC. Here are excerpts from Trust Pilot reviews:

SCAMMERS... report with ICANN, Hong Kong Police, whoever you can...
Just tried to do the right thing and report a phishing site... Instead of a thanks, Jimmy Fong, Dispute Team, sent me an email asking for the URL's...
If you are a reputable company looking for domain registration, stay away from these guys...
So I have been doing research on this server hosting provider and domain nicenic, They have been hosting websites like DOX***.com...
Nicenic have abysmal abuse reporting policies and standards...
NiceNIC are hosting a phishing site at australia.post-parcel-au.com pretending to be Australia Post...
Despite reporting drug selling SPAMmer domain to them via email (abuse@) - since they are listed as a registrar in WHOIS, I have received no reply...

These reviews paint a troubling picture of NiceNIC's practices, indicating a pattern of facilitating scams and phishing sites while neglecting abuse reports.

As of now, the scam was first reported on April 14, and our communication with NiceNIC has been disappointingly slow. Given their track record, I'm concerned about the timely resolution of this issue. If necessary, we'll escalate this matter to ICANN and explore other avenues to protect our community.

Stay vigilant, and together, we'll combat these fraudulent activities.
